Blackwood police make stolen property appeal


GWENT police are appealing for people to come forward to identify stolen property recovered from a house in the Pontllanfraith area last month.

The items which include a Wickes drill, a Black and Decker jig saw and a Stanley toolbox and tools are believed to have been taken from private and commercial buildings in the Pontllanfraith and surrounding areas over the past few months.

More than 20 items were recovered on June 18 which also included a black socket set and a black hold all containing tools and a JCB jig saw.

A Challenge angle grinder, Black and Decker Sander and five pairs of Thermatec fingerless gloves were also recovered.

An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the burglaries and is currently on police bail pending further enquiries.

  • Performance mitre saw
  • Brennenstuhl lead light
