Cwmbran woman's parachute jump for MS cause

A CWMBRAN MS sufferer will do a parachute jump to raise money for the society which has helped her.

Susan Sims, 58, of Crown Close, Pontnewydd, Cwmbran, was diagnosed with MS 15 years ago.

Ms Sims said: “It’s a slow form of MS. I know it’s going to get worse but I've got to get out and enjoy myself.”

She will do the parachute jump on Saturday, July 18 in Oxford to raise money for the MS Society.

Ms Sims started going to the society’s meetings in New Inn nine months ago and goes every Monday where they do a range of activities.

She said the parachute jump is always something she wanted to do and is really looking forward to doing it.

She said she just wants to raise as much money as possible.

Anyone wanting to sponsor Ms Sims can do so through the MS Society Cymru by calling 029 2078 6676.
