THE jury in the New Inn murder trial visited the site where father-of-two Kingsley Monk died today.
Russell Carter, 52, of Penrhos Crescent, Rumney, Cardiff, is accused of killing his former boss, Driverline 247 director Kingsley Monk, on October 20 last year.
He denies this charge and also denies the attempted murder of former colleagues Gethin Heal, Robert Lewis and Nathan Taylor.
The trial opened at Newport Crown Court on Monday where the jury heard how Carter went to the premises in Pontypool and waited for staff to arrive before subjecting them to a “terrifying” attack which lasted more than four hours.
The case continues in court this morning.
Proceeding.
