Newport Gwent Dragons defence coach and ex-player Colin Charvis has been charged with drink-driving it was revealed today.
The former Dragons star was pulled over by police and arrested on Sunday following a night out in Cardiff.
The 36-year-old, who was capped 94 times for Wales and scored 22 international tries, is to appear at the city's magistrates' court later this month.
Newport Gwent Dragons declined to comment today.
A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said: "A 36-year-old man from the Swansea area was arrested on Sunday October 4 for drink-driving and has been charged. He will appear in court on October 19 2009 at 10am.’’
