Man, 58, denies child sex charges

AN EBBW Vale man yesterday denied a string of sexual offences against three children aged under 16.

Roystan Lewis, 58, of Beaufort, denied two counts of indecency and two other counts of a serious sexual offence against one of the alleged boy victims when he appeared at Cardiff crown court.

The alleged offences were all committed in the 1990s when the boy was under 12.

Lewis also denied five counts of indecent assault against a second boy over a six year period when the boy was under 16.

He also denied two counts of another serious sexual offence against the same boy.

Lewis is further charged with sexually assaulting a girl under 12.

Lewis will stand trial on March 8 next year.
