Newport girl fighting for life after collision

A 12-YEAR-OLD Newport girl is today fighting for her life after being involved in a collision with a car last night.
She was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport, before being moved to Bristol’s Frenchay Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
The incident happened at around 8.12pm on the A48 Usk Way, Newport, opposite the Transporter Bridge.
The Black VW Bora car involved in the incident was travelling towards Spytty Road at the time.
