SLIMMING World members have been busy in Newport raising money for charity by knitting more than 500 chicks.
The group, run by Janice Clark, have been knitting chicks to sell to raise money for Velindra Hospital, Cardiff.
Members and their friends from her groups in Rogerstone, Malpas and Newport city centre, have spent the last six weeks hard at work, as Mrs Clark explains: "I've had such a great response of people knitting and donating chocolate eggs to go in them."
Mrs Clark says so many people have been affected by cancer so raising money for Velindre is a cause close to her heart.
