A MAN died following a crash on the A468 in Machen yesterday after a collision between a camper van and a motorcycle.
Ambulance crews were called at around 4.25pm and they took the biker to the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport but later died from his injuries.
The occupants of the campervan were uninjured.
The road in Lower Machen was temporarily closed while emergency services attended and vehicles recovered.
