Last Thursday, I went to the Heath hospital, Cardiff, with my wife, who is disabled. We came out of the lift and there was a huge painting of Aneurin Bevan, the founder of our health service. It got me thinking about where the new Nye Bevan is, or the new Lloyd George or the new Winston Churchill. Where is the new Clement Atlee?
Do you know what? There aren’t any. We are stuck with all these career politicians and they are going to destroy what has made our country great. And do you know what? We have lain down and asked for it.
