THE Environment Agency issued a flood warning for parts of Wales today.

Heavy rain is set to fall across most of Wales throughout the day.

The heavier rain will hit Powys, Ceredigion, Conwy, Gwynedd, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham and there could be major disruption and significant flooding in these areas.

Following recent heavy rain across many parts of Wales, the ground remains saturated which has increased the risk of flooding.
