THE silver Vauxhall Corsa hit two parked cars on Chepstow Road at around 6.30am near to the Dragon Palace Chinese take-away.
Gwent Police said all three vehicles were damaged but that the 24-year-old driver of the Vauxhall Corsa was not injured.
Firefighters from Maindee and Malpas stations were also called to the incident and helped to make the car safe.
ARGUS reader Chris Prior took this shot of an overturned car on Chepstow Road in Newport this morning.
When he passed the scene near the Dragon Palace Chinese restaurant, the silver Vauxhall Corsa was on its roof and emergency services were on the scene.
No other vehicles appeared to be involved.
