A NEWPORT man will be sentenced next month after admitting to charges including inciting a child to engage in sexual activity with a dog and making indecent images of a child.
Peter Phillips, 56, of Cromwell Road, appeared via video link at Cardiff Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to two counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, one of which involved inciting a child to engage in sexual activity with a dog.
He also pleaded guilty to 20 charges of making indecent images of a child, one count of possessing indecent images of a child and one count of distributing indecent images of a child.
Phillips' wife Suzie Phillips, 32, of Coverack Road, also appeared via video link in the same case where she pleaded guilty to two counts of distributing indecent images of a child.
The court heard the charges were committed between July and November last year.
Judge David Wynn Morgan remanded both defendants in custody and warned them they face lengthy prison sentences.
Both are due to be sentenced on August 13.
