Police arrested two men in Lambourne Crescent, Bettws, Newport
A suspected cannabis factory caught fire this morning in a Bettws street.
Two men, aged 23 and 41, were arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis after the fire in Lambourne Crescent, Bettws, Newport at 11.55am.
A neighbour who raised the alarm said a smoke alarm had been going off for half an hour so he called 999.
Four police cars and an an ambulance attended the scene although no-one was injured.
