POLICE in Gloucestershire are looking for this man in connection with an assault outside a pub which resulted in a Gwent man being charged.

Police were called to the Clothiers Arms on Bath Road, Stroud, at around 2pm on July 28.

Two men were assaulted during the incident; a 46-year-old man from Stroud suffered serious head injuries and was taken to hospital. A second man was hit in the head but did not require hospital treatment.

A 35-year-old man from Brynmawr was arrested and charged with common assault. He was bailed to appear at Stroud Magistrates Court on September 3.

Police want to speak with the man on this CCTV still in connection with the assault.

He is described as a white man, in his 40s, with a large build and short greying hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt and white trainers.
