Train delays in Gwent after train fails at Severn Tunnel Junction

THE Severn Tunnel has now reopened. Network Rail said 12 trains were affected and found no faults or debris in the tunnel.
UPDATE: 11.55am
DELAYS of up to to 30 minutes are reported on trains to and from Newport due to a broken down train in Severn Tunnel.
The train from Weston-Super-Mare to Cardiff Central broke down in the tunnel over an hour ago, with six trains currently affected by the problem.
A spokesman for Network Rail said the line from Wales into England is running fine and trains will begin running in both directions in the next half an hour.
The disruption is expected to continue until approximately 1pm.
