If you had to be stuck in a lift with someone, who would it be and why?
Stephen Hawking, because he’s a fascinating person who has come through much hardship
What is your biggest fear?
Falling from a large height.
Do you have any superstitions?
I’m not particularly superstitious and don’t put much stock in them, but a few I remember from my childhood are to not walk under a ladder and across three grains.
If you could have only one song on your iPod, what would it be and why?
That is an absolutely impossible question. I can’t choose.
What’s the most expensive thing you’ve bought, not including property?
A car, an Audi A3
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
Focus on today, not too far in the future
What’s your indulgence?
Traditional British food. Roast dinner, fish and chips, steak and chips.
What item could you not live without?
My piano.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why?
A better focused mind because mine tends to wander.
Where are you next going on holiday?
I have no plans for a holiday, but hopefully I can get to go back to Thailand to do a few more shows.
