A TV talent is coming to Chepstow to inspire a generation of local young performers.
Greg Pritchard, who wowed the judges on Britain's Got Talent in 2009, is the new singing and piano teacher for local business Hannah's Music.
Over the years, more than 200 pupils per week have attended lessons run there, either learning for fun or taking it more seriously.
Mr Pritchard studied a summer course at the Saturday Academy directed by Patricia O'Neill and has sung in Thailand for the royal family His BGT performances have attracted 20 million hits on You Tube and he has his own fan site.
The 27-year-old said many teachers have not had the experience of performing he has had and he hopes to pass it on.
"I think it's going to be really exciting and I can't wait to work with the young people," he said.
Carol Mutlow, whose business is named after her daughter Hannah who died of cystic fibrosis aged 16, said: "We are pleased to welcome Greg on board."
