Pair in court over Newport burglary and assault
TWO people are due to appear in Caerphilly Magistrates Court this morning charged with robbery and assault following an aggravated burglary in Newport.
A 50-year-old man and 27-year-old woman, both from Newport, were arrested following an aggravated burglary at the Gorelands, Catsash, during the early hours of Sunday morning.
They have both been charged with robbery, section 18 assault and section 47 assault.
They are both currently in custody.
