Abertillery man in court over Crumlin crisp factory blaze
A FACTORY worker accused of setting fire to the Real Crisps plant where he worked appeared in court this morning.
Colin Goulding, 30, of Bridge Street, Abertillery, is charged with arson with intent to endanger life in relation to the fire, which destroyed 75 per cent of the Crumlin factory causing more than £6 million pounds worth of damage, on September 20.
He appeared at Newport Crown Court this morning via video link and the case was adjourned ahead of a plea hearing on November 23.
He was remanded in custody.
