Blaenavon man to face trial over threats to kill mum

A BLAENAVON man will stand trial for allegedly trying to kill his mother, a court heard on Friday.
Carlton Hedley Llewellyn Browning, 57, appeared at Cardiff Crown Court via video link to deny attempting to murder Mary Browning on August 6 this year.
The matter was adjourned for trial on November 5 and Browning, of Hillside Avenue, Blaenavon, was remanded in custody.
