RESIDENTS in Ebbw Vale will have their say this month on planned changes to the town centre.

Residents can comment on proposals to create a newpublic space at Bank Square, and on the redevelopment of the bus and taxi interchange.

Cllr Brian Scully, executive member for regeneration at Blaenau Gwent council, said: “This is an exciting time for Ebbw Vale town centre. Those who live, work and shop in it have the opportunity, through these consultations, to be a part of that.”

Possible changes could include re-alignment of the A4046 and improvements to the junction at the Walk.

Details of new seating, decorative walls, artwork and lighting at Bank Square will also be on display.

To view the proposals and have your say, visit Ebbw Vale Institute on October 10, 1pm –7pm; October 11, 10am–4pm, and October 12, 10am–4pm, at Ebbw Vale Market.
