Meanwhile, April's school, Ysgol Gynradd Machynlleth, has broached the subject of April's disappearance by linking it to its work with children on the importance of not speaking to strangers.

One parent told today how she didn't want to take her children to the school as the search for April continued, but changed her mind when the teachers "made the children feel so safe and made me feel so safe".
