First published in News

A NEWPORT curry house hit by a fire will remain closed until further notice.

Abdul Hussain, 27, had hoped to re-open his Maharaja restaurant on Clarence Place today after a small fire in the kitchen on Monday (October 15) evening forced them to close.

But the damage is worse than first though and Mr Hussain has asked customers with future bookings to contact him on 01633 263035.

Mr Hussain also wanted to thank the fire brigade for their help.
