I believe the future success of our Nation and our civic society depends on developing sound policy, delivering security for all and making sound laws, which are designed in Wales for the benefit of all our people.

A Plaid Government, responsible, ambitious and determined to serve the people of Wales is the only way to achieve our full potential as a People and as a Nation.

This election gives us the opportunity to make a real difference, if you truly want to ensure safe and prosperous communities then take this opportunity to vote with your conscience vote for prosperity and self-respect - vote Plaid twice on Thursday 3rd May 2007.

We must: * Work to Save the Cattle Market in Abergavenny and preserve the market town's unique character.

* Work to create sustainable long-term jobs within the rural economy and help boost long term rural economic prospects.

* Ensure the provision of affordable housing for our young people who are the future of our communities.

* Work to retain and safeguard the vital network of rural and urban Sub-Post Offices which make a vital contribution to our communities.

* Strive to create an integrated public transport to ensure our communities are going to continue to survive and develop in the twenty first century.

* Seek the transfer of Home Office control of Policing, Immigration and the Prisons to the National Assembly.

* Work to tackle climate change by encouraging the development of renewable energy sources including energy from the sun, tides, wind, water, and energy crops.
