The mascot for the match at Rodney Parade against the Wizards of Aberavon was thirteen year old Shane Robertson. Shane led the team out with captain Andy Coombs and met Rodney Parade favourite, Scot Williams.

It’s amazing the things you learn by paying attention to the news. Normally when the journalist is sat across from me delivering the news to the rest of the country I’m checking the weather or sorting out the next few songs or just away with the fairies.
Abolish bus lanes or find Policemen to enforce them!

We have hundreds of traffic laws but no policemen to enforce them. Newports’ traffic police are too busy polishing their patrol cars ready for the 2010 Ryder cup, to do their proper job.
