Eight year old Tomos Grant, a young player with Newport High School Old Boys U8, was the inspirational mascot on the day that Newport overcame Llandovery in a ten try demolition.
Tom met his current hero Dan Griffiths (pictured above with famous boots in hand). Tom is also a big fan of former Newport great Rod Snow. Unfortunately, the Trust were unable to fly 'The Plough' over from Canada for the occasion. I'm sure Snowy would have loved to see the flowing rugby on show.
The Trust Committee would like to thank Tomos for his performance and to Dan and Andy Coombs for looking after him on the day.
