Megan aged eight and Mali Jo who is only three gave their all to assist their famous dad Sven to inspire Newport to win the last home game this season. The girls ran out ahead of the team onto the hallowed turf along with captain Andy Coombs.

Unfortunately their efforts were in vain as injury hit Newport went down hard against local rivals Cross Keys.

After the game, the girls met up with their favourite player, Mark Workman (or Uncle Mark I think he may be called), for the all important photograph.
