Business development network Zokit is launching its latest hub in Newport this week.

The Newport hub launch will take place at The Priory Hotel, Caerleon, on April 12, with a lunch-time meeting between noon and 2pm.

There will then be a schedule of monthly events which will include opportunities for relaxed networking, one-to-one meetings, and business wisdom spotlights.

Zokit has more than 7,000 active followers, 2,000 business clients, and 100 premier members across South Wales.

It organises business events including training and development days, expos, and networking sessions in Cardiff, Bridgend, and the Vale of Glamorgan, and now Newport.

The Newport hub will be led by copywriter, PR, and former South Wales Argus journalist Maria Williams, assisted by face-painting business owner Irene Quelch. Both are Gwent-based business women.

Maria said: “Newport is an excellent city in which to do business, and we’re excited to be launching our latest Zokit hub here.

“Our meetings give business people the opportunity to make valuable connections, foster long-standing relationships, and develop themselves as business owners or managers.”

Zokit founder Neil Lloyd said: “Zokit is famed for its relaxed meetings and its support for business owners, so we’d be delighted to welcome visitors who would like to find out more about what we do and how it could benefit them.”
