Firms wanted to recruit graduates to work in schools
6:10pm Wednesday 18th July 2012 in Business
COMPANIES are being invited to tender for the chance to deliver a programme that will recruit graduates to work in schools to support youngsters who find it hard to do well because of their poor background.
The Welsh Government’s Additional Training Graduate Programme will employ graduates to teach in a school on a reduced timetable while following an approved teacher training programme designed to enable them to meet the Qualified Teacher Status Standards. Contractors will need to show how they propose to meet all aspects of the scheme as set out in the tender documentation and will ideally have a proven track record in the delivery of similar training programmes.
The closing date for bids is August 20 and the contract will be awarded by the end of September 2012. For more information visit sell2wales.co.uk
