Five Minutes With nurse and Ups'a'Daisy Foundation fundraiser, Charlotte Andrews from Magor

If you had to be stuck in a lift with someone, who would it be and why?

Phil, my partner because he’s a fireman and because he’d probably get me out. There’s nothing that flash about that.

What is your biggest fear?

The sea. I won’t go in above my knees and I’m terrified of sea creatures. I really do not like it. I hate the sea.

Do you have any superstitions?

Loads - magpies, not walking under ladders, putting new shoes on the table, not crossing on the stairs. I’m frightened of things going wrong.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

Icona Pop, I Love It. My daughters Olivia and Emily love it so I love it. It’s purely because of the girls and it makes me think of them.

What is the most expensive thing you've bought, not including property?

A BWM 5 Series Sport – but my ex-husband has that. A diamond necklace.

What is the best piece of advice you've been given?

My mum always gives me good advice. There is lots of little things she says - always do your best and treat people how you want to be treated. Things like that really.

What is your indulgence?

Wine and chocolate in the evenings. But I’ve gone on a diet and wine is fattening so I’ve given that up.

What item could you not live without?

Foundation, probably!

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

To be more tolerant. Sometimes I can blow up on the smallest thing.

Where are you next going on holiday?

We’re going to Spain, to the Jalon Valley.
