A TV talent show is coming to Newport to search for the next big thing.
The X Factor is back and is searching for talented vocalists from all over the UK.
Producers will be heading to the Cineworld Cinema in Friars Walk on March 9 on the lookout for some local talent.
The open audition will take place at the cinema from 11am to 5pm and initial applications can be made online at itv.com/xfactor.
Auditions on the day are on a first come, first served basis, so people are being advised to turn up early.
They will then be in with a chance of auditioning in front of the X Factor judges at the auditions that take place in the summer.
Entrants must be over 16 years of age and any under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and have a valid ID.
