FUN: There was a belated St Davids Day celebration at The Lion Inn, Trellech, on Saturday March 5, and a small group of Chepstow Male Voice Choir members, eleven in number joined in an evening of poems and pints.
There was an invite from Debs the Landlady, well, more of an appeal, for some singers to perform some traditional Welsh hymns and folk songs in the bar, as the restaurant area was packed with customers enjoying the entertainment on offer.
We had a lovely evening, and Debs provided us with a drink, and sandwiches, bara brith and of course, Welsh cakes.
We hope to be invited next year!
