Well done to the dancers who took part in the Newport Dance Festival which took place on April 5 at the Riverfront with other Newport Schools.

A number of visitors attended the school and in particular was a visit from a theatre group who performed `Ghastly Gravy on the Star ship Gastroma`.

This included workshops for each class from Y1-Y6 teaching the children about food hygiene which was presented in a fun and informative way.
The children are learning about appropriate and safe use of the internet.

A local police officer visited classes at the school and attended one assembly to help the children understand how to stay safe on line.
