CLEAN UP: After the success of the #springcleanusk week, the volunteers of Usk in Bloom are again teaming up with One Piece of Litter Usk for a 30 minute challenge on Saturday April 29 at 10.30am. The team will be meeting up by The Co-op.
Each volunteer is allocated a street or area in Usk and given 30 minutes to litter pick that area.
In total it only takes an hour after disposal of what’s been collected.
Chairman Tony Kear said: “This is our third summer of Community Clear up challenges and they have proved highly popular not just in litter picking but raising awareness of the problems of litter louts. We are very proud of where we live and we are making a difference”.
Equipment is provided. Volunteers are requested to bring suitable gloves.
