SUCCESS: Maes Ebbw Special School Tertiary students have won the Best Young Enterprise Team, Newport and Monmouthshire.
They are a small group of special needs students who worked hard to overcome learning and behavioural difficulties to set up their own successful business and present it at the Young Enterprise Newport and Monmouth finals on April 27.
As winners of the prestigious award they now represent the Newport and Monmouthshire area in the all Wales final in Cardiff on June 15.
Joseph Harries, the Managing Director said that they were very surprised to win in Newport and are nervous about the Wales finals.
The company are run by eight students, Ieuan, James, Kieran, Ieuan, Emily, Joseph, Sarah and Chelsea.
