365 DAY RUN STREAK CHALLENGE: Scott Hayden, from Newport, has set himself the challenge of running a minimum of a mile every day for a year in order to raise funds for Tŷ Hafan. Scott is aiming to raise £3650 and so far he has raised £2370.
Tŷ Hafan is a charity which cares for life-limited children in Wales. Scott is now 10 months into his challenge and the first eight months were great but then he encountered injury problems. The last two months have been difficult and keeping going until the end on Sunday September 10 will be difficult.
Scott says “I never thought about quitting. The family’s I am raising money for haven’t got that option. They have to keep going. Ty Hafan gives them a chance to enjoy life as much as they can.”
