Usk author Julie McGowan will be busy next week-end with two book-signings for her latest novel, Just One More Summer' On Saturday June 28 she will be at Blaenavon Heritage Centre from 10.30 am, joining in with the town's Heritage Day, and on Sunday June 29 , which will be the second day of Usk Open Gardens week-end, Julie will be signing books at Mandalay book shop in Usk from 11.30am.
She said, "There is still a lot of interest in my first book, The Mountains Between', which is set in Blaenavon and Abergavenny, so I suspect I will also be signing copies of that one at the Heritage Centre. Just One More Summer' is very different, a modern book but continuing the Celtic theme as it is set largely in Cornwall. It's being billed as a perfect summer read', so I hope people will find that it is."
