PENYLAN BAPTIST CHURCH: There are a few places left at the harvest supper to be held at the church at 7pm on Friday, October 5, 2007. The supper consists of a two-course hot and cold buffet followed by tea or coffee and the cost is £6.

HARTRIDGE HIGH GCSE RESULTS: At the top end the school had some amazing results, with more A* and A grades than ever before, and a number of individuals excelled themselves, notably, Tanya Knight, Kirstie Miln, Adam Slaughter, Sam Attewell, Angharard Bishop, Nicholas Johnston. In total 54 students achieved five or more GCSE grades A*-C - the most for many a year.
