SHOPPERS at a Gwent supermarket are in for a festive treat next week when a Christmas reindeer parade comes to the store.
Staff at the Brynmawr Asda store will be joined by shoppers and local school children in the fancy-dress parade at 5pm on December 1.
Pupils from St Mary's Roman Catholic Primary School will be singing carols and a host of refreshments, including mince pies, will be on offer.
Store manager Dennis Hughes said: "We are linking up with local schools and hope that the reindeer parade will stretch all around the store."
