A MAN who called the ambulance service and said he was going to harm himself is being looked for by the emergency services.
Gwent Police have said they are concerned for the welfare of the man, believed to be from the Cwmbran area, who called the ambulance service three times on Friday morning before 6.20am, stating he intended to harm himself.
Despite calling the man and attempting to establish his identity, neither the ambulance service nor police have been able to track him down.
Officers continue to make enquiries to establish his identity as they are concerned for his welfare.
The man also called another agency over the last 36 hours but failed to leave any details that could identify him.
Police and other agencies want him to make contact with any of them, to know he is safe and well and to make sure he has access to any help or support he may need.
