Fire at Pulse Fitness in Abersychan

A fire at Pulse Fitness in Abersychan is being tackled by three fire crews.
The three storey building is being attended by fire crews from New Inn, Abersychan and Blaenavon. There is also a water bell from Cwmbran and a hydraulic ladder from Maindee.
Eye witness Barri Weaving who lives on High Street said: "At approx 18.30 this evening the Pulse fitness gym in Abersychan near Pontypool was ablaze, shortly after thre fire engines were on the scene fighting the fire, flames were pouring up through the roof of the building.
"A local lady who lives next door had to leave her house along with her cats. I believe the gym was closed at the time as all the shutters were down and lights off."
