GREASE is the word at one Newport school where pupils have been busy learning their lines ahead of their latest production.
While most youngsters were enjoying a break from school during last week’s half term, students at St Julian’s School were hard at work perfecting their dance moves.
Sixth formers Steven Williams and Georgia Cooper will take the lead roles of Danny and Sandy, supported by a cast from other year groups, for the classic musical made famous by songs including Greased Lightnin' and You’re the One that I Want.
The school’s art department has been busy preparing sets, members of the geography team have made costumes, while media pupils have created projections to play alongside songs.
The show runs from November 13 to 16. Tickets are £6 for adults and £4 for concessions and are on sale in the student reception each break time.
