Four-vehicle crash closes Heads of the Valleys Road in Abergavenny

A FOUR-vehicle crash in Abergavenny has closed the A465 this evening.
One person was taken away on a stretcher at around 5.30pm, South Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed, while another casualty was assessed at the scene.
Gwent Police confirmed there were only minor injuries as a result of the crash which involved three vehicles and a trailer.
The A465 Heads of the Valleys Road is closed both ways between the A40 and B4521 Ross Road, taking in the Hardwick Roundabout and the turning for Llanvetherine, because of an incident involving three vehicles.
Local diversions are in operation.
