Police granted more time to question suspect in Newbridge murder probe

GWENT police have been granted a 36 hour warrant of further detention to question the man arrested on suspicion of murdering Kyle Vaughan.

A 27-year-old man from Blackwood was arrested on suspicion of murder on Thursday by police investigating the disappearance of Mr Vaughan, 24, of Newbridge.  

The warrant was issued at Caerphilly Magistrates Court today.               

The last confirmed sightings of Mr Vaughan were made during the late evening of December 30 in the Abercarn and Risca areas.
