'Snow bomb' could fall on Gwent

South Wales Argus: 'Snow bomb' could fall on Gwent 'Snow bomb' could fall on Gwent

A FORECASTER has warned a 'snow bomb' could fall on Gwent, dumping large amounts of snow.

Jonathan Powell, a forecaster at Vantage Weather said: "There is a chance a 'snow bomb' could dump a lot of snow over South Wales early Tuesday morning, but it could go east and miss us. If worst comes to worst, that happens, there could be an extra inch of snow on top of what we already have. But if not there will be a light dusting sometime in the next 24 hours, and of course these very cold temperatures will remain."

These forecasters need to grow up and stop preaching Armageddon every time we get some adverse weather, this week is nowhere near what we had 3 years ago, and out of sight compared with the 70s when we had real snow falls, but STILL went to school and to work. weather has become a national excuse to stay in bed.

Perhaps ground zero will be Newport. It will look a bit cleaner until the snow melts.
