Car collides with electricity pylon in New Inn

A CAR collided with an electricity pylon on New Road, New Inn, this afternoon.
The incident happened near the Three Firs at around 1.16pm, with the driver taken to hospital.
South Wales Ambulance, Gwent Police and Western Power attended, with the severity of injuries sustained unknown.
