AN 18-YEAR-OLD from Newport is competing against three others in a bid to take the Junior Chef of Wales title.
Jonathan Pring, from the Celtic Manor, is taking on chefs from St Tudno Hotel, Llandudno, The Castle Hotel, Conwy, and The Bear Hotel, Crickhowell.
All four will have three hours to cook a creative three-course meal from Welsh True Taste award-winning ingredients on February 11. The winner will represent Wales at the Junior Forum at the World Association of Chefs Societies Congress in Norway next year.
