GWENT Police are appealing for information following three burglaries in Islwyn within two weeks.

The first occurred at a property in Gwendoline Road, Risca, on January 26 at around 5.30am.

Two dark blue Dell Inspiron laptops were stolen. The offender is described as about 5ft 6in, of medium build and was possibly wearing a hat.

The second incident occurred sometime overnight between January 31 and February 1 at a property in High Street, Fleur-de-Lys.

A wallet and an HTC touchscreen mobile phone was stolen.

The third incident occurred at a property in Coronation Road, Blackwood, on the night of February 3.

Stolen items included an Xbox, purse, bag and mobile phone.
