A fool and there car are soon parted!

When they passed their test, did the instructor ever tell them to leave their car with engine running, unattended at anyl time!

No, I thought not!

Just cos they can't be bothered to wait a few mins!

What's wrong with de-icer sprays, you can get them most places.

Its a lot cheaper than £40k!

Certainly common sense NEVER to leave your car running and unattended!

Oh dear. I don't like the smell of de-icer so always sit in my car with the engine running. There are so many opportunists around these days that it's simply not worth taking the risk of leaving your car even for a minute.

Talk about an opportunist with big drives off the main road you wouldnt expect a member of the public walking by and think - oh I'll jump in! Someone must of been watching. Sad, why cant you warm up you car for a few minutes?

I totally agree, why cant you warm your car and scrape the windows at same time? I also agree going inside and shutting the door is foolish. Insurance comapnies and the FOS will insist on a claim being met if you are in attendance of your car. This should be enough of a detterrent to stop theft. e.g. you are getting something from the boot or adjusting a child seat.
