A HALESOWEN firm is backing an RSPCA golf day which is raising money for abandoned and ill treated pets.
The RSPCA is hoping golf mad animal lovers sign up to the event at Harborne Golf Club on Thursday, June 13 which includes an 18 hole competition, a meal and charity raffle.
Halesowen architects Gould Singleton have sponsored the event.
Peter Icke, Gould Singleton Architects, said: "We are delighted to support the RSPCA Birmingham Animal Centre and Hospital Charity Golf Day at Harborne Golf Club.
“As architects and project managers for their new centre in Frankley, we have built up a long understanding and deep appreciation for the hard work and efforts made by the staff behind the scenes at the RSPCA."
Helen Tuite, community fundraiser for the centre, said: "We have had a great response so far, but we are still looking for a few more people to take part.
“It costs just £50 a person (£200 for a team of 4), and for that they get a hot sandwich and drink on arrival at 12noon, then 18 holes of golf, a two course evening dinner and fabulous raffle and team prizes.
“All money raised will go towards caring for the abandoned and ill treated animals that come through our doors."
To take part or could sponsor a hole if they cannot take part contact Helen on 07715 540 518 or 0300 123 8567.
